Not for the Faint-Hearted, All About Life's Lessons!
What is real, and what is fiction? When is it best not to keep a secret? Is there ever really a “happily ever after”? This book is not for the faint-hearted. It is incredibly open to the point of abrasiveness in tearing back the facade shown to society and letting the real “self” of Diane and her family show. In many ways, it is a difficult read because of the raw, emotional content and the ability to connect with the characters on a personal level. The plot flows well – not predictable, but with many twists and turns. The characters are well developed and mesh well together. The story is very believable, but some parts are not. It is something that you may have to read a bit of, put down, and come back to it later. It is all about life’s lessons and how to deal with them.
